Salmon Arm Fair Entrants and Exhibitors

Exhibit Departments, Divisions and Classes

Do you make the best pie, knit the coziest sweaters or grow the best vegetables? There’s also our sheep, goat, dairy & beef cattle, poultry, rabbit and numerous shows to compete in.

We’d love to see it all and so would everyone else. Be an exhibitor at the Salmon Arm Fair.

Thank you exhibitors ….

In 2024, we saw an amazing selection of homecraft & livestock exhibits and while the fruit entries were down due to the weather, the vegetables made up for it. We will have the Prize book ready in early 2025, so please take a look when it’s online. In the meantime, Find out about fees, delivery, pickup, prizes and more in our 2025 Rules & Regulations.

Registration

ONLINE: For your convenience, we accept Online Entries. Forms and information are available online. Remember there will be no printed Prize Book in 2025. Feel free to print the PDF of the department you are interested in entering.

Conveners

From months of planning to organizing and displaying hundreds of awe-inspiring exhibits, our convenors work year- round to make the fair a fun-filled experience for all our visitors!

Many of our Conveners have been with the Fair for a number of years. They are dedicated volunteers who often work all year long in their craft and in the activity area they represent at the fair. Some are representatives of well-established organizations, members of local, regional, national or international associations or governing agencies. They are educators, agricultural professionals, skilled craft, visual and performing artists, trades people, business leaders, and active community members.

We also get new Conveners from folks that approach our Association with a Division idea that compliments the mandate of the Fair. In other instances, new Conveners take over from retiring Conveners to continue traditional activities.

If you have any interest in being a Convener or an idea for a department, please contact the Fair Manager at fair@salmonarmfair.com. If there is no current placement available, there are many opportunities to volunteer as assistants, hosts and aides at the Fair. All Volunteers, including Conveners, are invited to a yearly social and all those offering their time to the Fair are able to earn Fair Passes even if they worked before or after the Fair for set up and take down.
