Rules

  1. Free to enter. Decorations encouraged! Limited spots available.

  2. The assembly point for parade entries will be Woodsman Equipment parking lot and flow back as far as DeMilles Farm Market if need be. Marshalling begins at 7:00am – and all entries must be in position by 8:00am. 

  3. Judging will be completed by 8:45am.

  4. There may be NO candy or ANY other objects thrown from the parade unit. Items may be handed to spectators by persons walking with the unit. This is a safety issue and is non-negotiable. 

  5. All parade units are to complete the entire parade route.

  6. Parade participation does not provide admission to the Fair Grounds.

  7. Have fun, smile & wave!

The assembly point for parade entries will be Frontage Rd. in front of Woodsman Equipment and flow back as far as DeMilles Farm Market if need be. The parade will then move east on 10th Ave all the way to the intersection of 10th and Shuswap St. It will then turn left onto Shuswap St. and continue to 5th Ave SW. Turning left onto 5th Ave and then left again onto 3rd St SW where any entries that need to return to the fairgrounds can do so via back entrance off 3rd St. Other entries not wishing to return to fairgrounds can exit via turning right onto 3rd St and exit onto highway.
