Our Fairgrounds will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland February 18th & 19th, 2023 featuring live entertainment, games, storytelling, food and shopping and works of art. We would like to offer you the opportunity to have a booth for this popular event. Please complete either the Food Concession Application or the Marketplace Application and forward the form to our Vendor Manager- vendor@salmonarmfair.com

VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

VENDOR APPLICATION – ALL VENDOR BOOTH REQUIREMENTS

  • Booth set up time is available on Saturday 18th day of February 2023 8:00 AM

  • Your booth must be set up and ready by Saturday February 18th 10:00AM

  • Booths must dismantled and removed from the site by 12:00 PM on the 20th day of February, 2023.

VENDOR APPLICATION – TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, canopies, generators, waste and recycle containers. Food Vendors must also provide all heating and serving containers and removal of grease off site for disposal.

• Food Vendors are responsible for obtaining their own food service permit, acquired through the Interior Health Authority. Food Vendors are required to follow all rules and regulations as set out by the Interior Health Authority.

• All bookings are accepted at the sole discretion of the Winter Fun Fest Committee, who has the right to decline any application and to restrict the number of vendors.

• The Vendor releases the organizers & sponsors along with any volunteers from injury or damage incurred.

• The Winter Fun Fest Committee, organizers & sponsors along with any volunteer are released from all liability and responsibility for theft, damage, or accidents with regard to Vendor displays prior to, during and/or after the event. Product liabilities, guarantees & insurance are the sole responsibility of the Vendor.

Not-For-Profit Booths

• A 10x10 space will be provided.

•  Use the standard Vendor application form above.

Volunteers

We are looking for super stars just like you to help make the Salmon Arm Winter Fun Fest, on the Family Day weekend- February 18th and 19th, 2023, a smash hit for everyone taking part.

This fun filled FREE afternoon/evening of activities can’t happen without volunteers. The volunteer shift ranges from 2-6 hours and are super fun as we encourage you to get into the vibe and have fun... Extra kudos if you dress up in a holiday outfit. 

Sign up for one day or two and join the team of helpful, energetic, friendly volunteers help make the participants event a lasting memory. 

Hosts and greeters will be needed, as well as people to assist with games in the different activity areas. Some areas include:

• Fire Pit supervisor

• Children’s games attendants

• Set up/Tear down

• Parade

• Arts & Crafts/Commercial Vendor attendants

• Waste management crew

If you are unable to volunteer, maybe you know someone who can. Please share so we have a fabulous Salmon Arm Winter Fun Fest celebration.

Parade

There will be no parade for 2023

Rules:

  1. All entries are expected to be 75% decorated – antique vehicles are the only exception.             

  2. Entries that do not meet these criteria are subject to an entry fee of $50.00 payable in advance. 

  3. All entries are to check in at the corner of 5th Street & 5 Ave SW.

  4. Marshaling begins at 4pm – and all entries must be in position to start at 5pm 

  5. Judging will be completed by 4:30pm.

  6. There may be NO candy or ANY other objects thrown from the parade unit.  Items may be handed to spectators by persons walking with the unit.  This is a safety issue and is non-negotiable. 

  7. All parade units are to complete the entire parade route. 

  8. Have fun, smile & wave.
